France Ski Trip Day 2: The Arrival

The condo we had for the week, it was quite cozy

The great thing about this complex was it's practically ski-in/ski-out.  The main slope that was outside our deck sloped downward to the main entrance to our building.  Lockers were provided for everyone's ski gear on the ground floor in their own heated rooms.  Unfortunately by day 4 or 5 so much water had built up in the areas that it was getting hard for things to dry at night due to the humidity.

After some minor unpacking we find the local grocery, the 8-to-8.  We also scoped out what rental options we had near our condo.  A hotel complex adjacent to us had some awesome pinball machines which we ended up playing daily...sometimes multiple times.

Jason's Dad told us a big rugby match was taking place (England v. France) and we attempted to watch this at a local bar.  It was completely different from watching sporting events in a public place in the USA.  Everyone was dead silent and all attention was on the game, not on drinking, not on socializing, and not on whatever random song was playing in the bar.  We eventually left because there were no seats.  Back at the condo, we decided to finish out the day with watching District 9.  It also started to snow!!!!!
